Genesis Audio System

The plan for the audio system in my Porsche was one of pure audiophile indulgence, without losing storage space or adding unnecessary weight. This has been achieved by replacing the awful factory-fitted Bose system with a combination of recently serviced and up-graded award-winning classic 'old-school' Genesis amplifiers, top of the range Sony DAB radio / CD Player with Apple Play, and the modern award-winning JL Audio component speakers. The results are superb. A system that fully utilises modern technology whilst retaining the original under-stated appearance of a factory-fitted install. The sound is natural, crystal clear and unfatiguing at comfortable listening levels, whilst keeping plenty of power in reserve for when needed.

Made in England - Genesis Audiophile Amplifiers - Gold Service SQ Upgraded, Series 3 'Dual Mono' & 'Stereo 60'

Both amplifiers have received the Gold Service SQ upgrades and modifications by the founder of Genesis, Gordon Taylor (AKA The Amp Doctor).

These modifications include bias optimisation, capacitor and chip upgrades.

The Genesis Series 3 amplifiers set the reference by which others are judged, and won countless awards for their superb sound quality. Each amplifier was carefully handcrafted in England. The ratings in Genesis watts are very conservative, and are comfortably exceeded on the handwritten test certificate showing each amplifiers true performance.

The Genesis Dual Mono is a class A / B type amplifier. Widely used as a reference point by reviewers, the Dual Mono can trace its lineage back to the very first amplifier Genesis made, the DM200. Extensively redeveloped to enhance its sound quality even further, the Dual Mono excels as a front stage amplifier with high quality speaker systems.

The Genesis Stereo 60 is a class A / B type amplifier with compact dimensions. This tiny powerhouse provides a great solution where great sound quality is needed in a limited space. Independent high and low pass filters give this amplifier the ability to run front systems or subwoofers as required.
